electromagnetic induction: electricity generated from a coil and a magnet

1) Electricity can be generated by using wire coil and a magnet.

Process 1:

2) Process 2:

3) Process 3:

Explanation:

Process 1: When magnet is approaching towards the coil current is generating.

Process 2: When magnet is going away from the coil current is generating but in opposite direction.

Process 3: Both coil & magnet are stopped, no current is found in the Galvanometer.

1) From the above experiment, it can be conclude that when there is motion there is electricity, this motion is called relative motion or change in motion.

2) This change in motion make changes the no of magnetic field lines changes in the coil.

3) The changes of magnetic field lines in coil develops an emf in the coil. This emf is called induce emf.

4) When magnetic field lines changes also called the magnetic flux changes in the coil, it develops a current in the coil, this current is called the induced current.

Electricity from Solenoid

1) Do you know Solenoid

2) A coil carrying current is also behaves like a magnet.

3) When such a current carrying coil put closer to an another coil, electric current induces in the second coil.

4) This induce current exists until there is a change in magnetic field, through the second coil.

5) If change of magnetic field stops then induce current also stop and no currents there.
